Arkansas Discovery Network

The Arkansas Discovery Network was funded by The Donald W. Reynolds Foundation in 2006 with a grant of more than $7 million. It is an innovative network of seven museums and educational centers in Arkansas that focuses on making hands-on, interactive museum experiences more accessible to the state's 498,000 schoolchildren and their families.

ASTC provides professional development for the science center field, promotes best practices, supports effective communication, strengthens the position of science centers within the community at large, and fosters the creation of successful partnerships and collaborations.

Encyclopedia of Arkansas History and Culture

The Encyclopedia of Arkansas History & Culture Project strives to offer a definitive, comprehensive, and accurate record of the twenty-fifth state. The online version of the Encyclopedia is the first component of the Project. The online version of the Encyclopedia will be maintained and updated in perpetuity by the staff of the Butler Center for Arkansas Studies.

National Park Community College

National Park Community College (NPCC) offers college courses that blend liberal arts with occupational education to prepare students to enter the workforce or transfer to a four-year institution. MASM is proud to partner with NPCC in reaching their mission: Learning is our focus; student success is our goal. Partnership events include work study positions at MASM, Leaders In Museum Education credit course, museum day for students and staff, unique volunteer opportunities for students, and much more!

Smithsonian Affiliations

Smithsonian Affiliations offers museums, nonprofit cultural institutions and educational organizations across the country the opportunity to have greater access to Smithsonian collections and resources. Through Smithsonian Affiliations, the Smithsonian fulfills its outreach mission of sharing artifacts, programs and expertise. Smithsonian Affiliations has established partnerships with more than 160 museums and educational and cultural organizations in 40 states, Panama and Puerto Rico since it was established in 1996.
