If you have not received a confirmation within 2 days of your request, please contact us.

If you are scheduling a field trip during April or May, please be aware that this is our busy season. Mornings and Fridays fill quickly therefore it is suggested that you schedule well in advance for better selection.

Chaperones are essential to a successful field trip. Mid-America Science Museum requires a ratio of at least 1 adult for every 10 students. These adults are expected to stay with and interact with the students to which they are assigned and help make their experience a fun and educational one. Chaperones are responsible for ensuring that students abide by all rules and regulations of the Mid-America Science Museum. Disruptive or unsafe behavior will not be permitted and may result in the group being asked to leave. Please select chaperones that will guide by example and have them assigned to a group of 10 students prior to your arrival. Download a handy guide for chaperones here. Due to the important role chaperones play during the field trip, all required chaperones are free of charge. Bus drivers are also free of charge. Prices are subject to change. Register early to guarantee prices.

Pre-Visit Activity

Before exploring the Mid-America Science Museum, we recommend completing this pre-visit activity with your students. This activity is designed to encourage careful observations about familiar objects and to accurately record findings. By practicing their observation skills, students will be prepared to make careful observations and ask questions about the science phenomena they will experience when exploring the museum exhibits. The Arkansas Science Curriculum Frameworks identify observation as an important component of scientific investigations for grades k-12.

Science Hunt

Use this Science Hunt to guide your group's exploration of Museum exhibits.
