Member Night

May 22, 2014 • 6 - 8pm

Mark your calendar for a special night with members-only preview of our exciting summer exhibit: Amazon Voyage: Vicious Fishes & Other Riches. Activities include "floating cows" where you'll have a chance to learn about the awesomely weird 50 million year old (but newly discovered) muck fish from the Amazon!

Summer Camps

Programs for children 7 - 13 years of age.


July 7-July 11 • 8am-5pm

Power Trip! Discover the power of electricity. In the air, in your hair, electricity can be anywhere. Harness that electricity and create circuits on paper, build a bot, and much more.


July 14-July 18 • 8am-5pm

Color Splashes and Mechanical Mayhem! Learn the art and science of tinkering. Get your gears in motion, create gizmos and gadgets and use surprising science to make artistic creations.


July 21-July 25 • 8am-5pm

Mystery at the Museum Sharpen your skills in forensic science, and help the Museum solve the case of the missing golden treasure!


July 28-Aug 1 • 8am-5pm

Opposites Attract! They are as different as night and day! Explore opposites like earth and sky, fire and ice. Discover the awesomeness of opposites!


Note: Please drop off campers no earlier than 7:30am and pick up no later than 5:30pm.

Fees members: $175 / non-members: $200
