Camp-In Information

Come and explore the Mid-America Science Museum Overnight

You'll never experience a more innovative campground than MASM… Campers have a unique (and FUN) opportunity to become completely immersed in the excitement and wonder of discovering science at their own pace, while spending an unforgettable night in the most unique facility in all of Hot Springs. Where else can you sleep by a dinosaur and see lightening on command?

Learn, play, see and do it all! As a camper you'll get to:
  • Let your imagination soar on the Virtual Reality Simulator ride
  • Explore more than 100 hands-on exhibits
  • See a live laser show
  • Experience the power of the World's Most Powerful Conical Tesla Coil - a Guinness World Record™ holding exhibit. Tesla's 1.5 million volts of electricity demonstrated
  • Have a hair-raising good time at the Van de Graaff Generator
  • Munch on a snack and eat breakfast in the museum, and
  • Camp out right on the exhibit floors!

Who can attend? EVERYONE!

MASM Camp-Ins are great for scout troops, youth & church groups, schools, families, birthday parties and anyone ready for an unforgettable night of fun. Only $35 per person! Each group of 10 youths must be accompanied by 1 adult chaperone. The minimum number of participants for a scheduled Camp-In date is 100. Groups will be combined to meet the required number, if necessary.

Can't Spend the Night? Try an "Almost Overnight"

Special, "Almost Overnight" evenings can be arranged for your group at the Museum. Program choices include: hands-on workshops, Laser Shows and special films, exhibit exploration and a live science show at a discounted price.
